"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" — Romans 10:14

Paul asks a question that should keep every believer awake at night.

How shall they hear without a preacher?

Not without a perfect preacher. Not without a polished preacher. Not without a preacher who has it all figured out. Just... without a preacher. Without someone willing to open their mouth.

I stood on that school hall stage and felt the weight of it. Hundreds of students. One voice. One message. And the terrifying, glorious realization that faith comes by hearing, and hearing requires someone to speak.

Here is what nobody tells you about preaching: you will feel unqualified every single time. I have stood on stages across Zimbabwe and I still get that knot in my stomach that whispers, 'Who do you think you are?'

And every time, I answer it the same way: I am nobody. But I carry Somebody.

The students in that hall did not need my credentials. They needed the Gospel. They needed to hear that Jesus loves them, that their sins are forgiven, that their future is not determined by their past.

Someone preached to you once. Someone opened their mouth when it would have been easier to stay silent. Someone risked awkwardness, rejection, and ridicule so that you could hear.

Now it is your turn.

You do not need a stage. The stage found me because I was faithful in small rooms first. Start where you are. Speak to who is in front of you. The how is God's problem. The going is yours.

I am the voice.

You are the voice.

We are the voice.
